Great food and wonderful service! My son gets so excited when I mention 2 words (Cracker Barrel). They have amazing pancakes and their new loaded hash brown casserole is the best thing that ever happened to this restaurant. It's something that I think, that most people and families can agree on for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have a great selection of food for any time of the day and it's filling. If you love country southern food cooking, this is the place to go!
The rating today is to commend Nico on his excellent service. After a short wait, we were seated and quickly welcomed by this young man. He was cheerful, good mannered, attentive and receptive to our requests...and all on Thanksgiving Day with a steady stream of guests. We appreciated our delicious meal and your employees time away from their families today.
If you're looking for home cooked meals, this place is an excellent choice. Lots of food choices and daily specials. Plus, a variety of items are offered for sale in the store part. I often find gifts for various needs. I buy fashionable apparel here and receive many compliments from my purchases. I really like the home-feeling environment. I've been to lots of Cracker Barrels in the South. Can't remember ever having a bad experience.
We were traveling and stop to eat. We received this best service we have ever had in any Cracker Barrel. Our server Michelle S was polite and we dd not once have to ask for anything. Michelle S brought everything in a timely manner. Our food was hot and everything was excellent. We will be sure to stop here again and would recommend that you ask for Michelle S as your server you will get fine dining service.
You don’t need a review because they are all the same. EXCEPT. While evacuating from Florida we stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel because it's consistent, great food, good service. What sets the Pell City Cracker Barrel apart from all the others is Holland, our waitress. She was a ray of sunshine in a unsure and dark time, as we sat down to eat our home was going through the storm and we didn’t know whether we still had a home to return to. She made my kids smile, made us feel like everything was going to be ok. When our meal was done She told us if we wanted a home cooked meal to give her a ring. This was our first experience in Alabama, and it showed us what the heart of Alabama is really about. I hold back tears when i think of what pure kindness Holland showed us. I hope her management reads this review and gives her the recognition she deserves. If you could have a Holland at every one of your locations you would have to competitors
