Clean, great breakfast, and the staff was so very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up!!!
So This place was awesome......staff was friendly and attentive. Facility was very clean. Beds are super comfortable and have GREAT pillows. Breakfast is good. There are lots of little details that add up to a great stay. Like all the soap and shampoos and lotions are by Bath And Body Works. Lots of clean linens. A/C works great. Bathroom was spotless. There is a keurig in the room (although some idiot ruined it by pouring a k-cup in the water tank) There are fresh apples in lobby and also cookies. I must admit, I should have taken one or two cookies but I obviously have no self control when it comes to chocolate chip......so i took 6 and ate them till my stomach hurt. I feel bad about it so I was going to compensate by making a good review and attaching a picture to this review that I drew on my phone. But it won't let me post a photo. So ill describe it. It is a dinosaur wearing an American flag cape riding a snowmobile but it has lasers instead of eyes. Pretty sweet right? Hope we can call it even on the cookies now.
The staff checking in was great but that's where it ended. The room was OK but the hallway and common areas all smelled of smoke. They still have smoking rooms which I didn't think existed still. Got to breakfast at 8:30 and the pancake machine was not working and everything else was picked over. If you're contemplating staying here keep driving. There were seemingly much nicer ones a few miles down the road towards GA.
One of the better holiday inns I have stayed at, and I travel for work. Friendly, clean, and not outdated.
It's your typical Holiday Inn. The rooms were updated at the beginning of 2016. They have a lounger/couch, desk, dresser, TV, bench, and bed(s). The closet is open (no door). There is a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms. The gym has a treadmill, bike, elliptical, weight rack (5-50 lbs.), bench, and some accessories. There is an outdoor pool. The shopping plaza has enough restaurants for a few days of stay.
