Y’all can keep all of your way OVER PRICED junk - you don’t have to worry about me or my family ever coming back and potentially damaging any of your precious “expensive merchandise.”
The store in Pell City is the only one of theirs I have visited, although they have others. I have been in many thrift stores but this is the first time I've been in a super clean thrift store. They have all suze clothing - I'm a big lady and have found 4x ladies clothing. The clothes are nice and in good condition, clean and some brand new. I bought a name brand purse that needed a zipper pull for less than $3. A neighbor bought a couch with a pull out mattress that was still wrapped for $25. They have awesome sales, some furniture being marked down to as little as $2.
You can get some good deals here if you go on a Monday.Thats when they restock.
My mother tried to be polite and give the horrid employee the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe she just didn’t see her, so she replied that she was right there, and supervising her completely, and assured her that my daughter would not break anything.
Will NEVER shop at, or donate one penny to, the Foundry due to the rude and irrational behavior of your employee at the Pell City Store. My very polite, well behaved six year old daughter was looking at a book and my mother was standing THREE FEET away when an employee began SHRIEKING at my mother, “She has to stay with you at all times! She might break something!”
My little girl, who, again, is a GOOD kid and has never broken anything in a store in her life (she is my one child who is a born rule follower) was in TEARS and shaking as she and my mother were leaving the store.
This employee should be ASHAMED of herself for the way she treated my little girl and my mother. What an exemplary example of “Christian” values The Foundry in Pell City is.
First off the people that work there are pleasant and treat politely. They make you feel welcome while you walk around doing your shopping experience. Some prices are far but some not, you just have to visit on the regular to get that price you want to pay. I really like my shopping time there, it's a weekly place to be for me.
Good to start our with but there prices r starting to get higher and less to offer friendly staff
The employee continued to rant loudly about wild, unsupervised children damaging expensive merchandise.
2. My mother was THREE - yes, 3 - feet away. She could have taken one small step and put her hand on my daughter.
1. She was looking at a children’s book.
