I purchased car from Pell City Auto Sales and he is very honest and fair. Prices were great and the vehicle was everything he said it was. I would also like to comment on the other reviews. So not cool to make a rude remark about someones wife. Everyone in the office was very nice and professional. I would do business with again.
Recently, I was about to purchase a 1999 Pathfinder from Pell City Auto Sales for roughly $4200. After hearing many things about the proprietors shady dealings, I insisted they let me take the Pathfinder to a trusted mechanic in Birmingham that I have used for years. The mechanic told me that there was a high probablility that this car had been in a pretty serious accident, as the frame had been welded in places and the body panel gaps were not in line. After confronting Pell City Auto Sales, they 'remembered' that in fact, this Pathfinder had a salvaged title and they had 'forgotten' to disclose this fact. They then went on to try and persuade me to purchase this vehicle (for the same price no less) by saying that it had been expertly repaired, which was the opposite of what my mechanic told me. I came to find out, this practice was not only unethical, but ILLEGAL. Pell City Auto Sales embodies everything we have come to expect from used car lots and THEIR COMPLETE LACK OF MORALS AND BUSINESS ETHICS.
David is a cum stain. HE LIED TO ME AND TRIED TO SCREW ME...TWICE...EVEN WHEN I HAD THE PROOF HE WAS LYING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. I have absolutely NOTHING nice to say about this business, its owners/managemnt, its vehicles, or its business practices. DAVID IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE. I would not recommend Pell City Auto Sales to anyone! In fact, I will go out of my way to tell anyone that will listen NOT TO SHOP THERE. Even for used-car salesmen, which is a low-life profession anyway, they are horrible immoral people.
My dad bought a car from Pell City Auto Sales for my 16th Birthday and I have fell in love with it. We haven't had any major problems with it. I have fallin in love with the car. I would recommend this business to anyone that ask where they should go.
